If ever we needed a work ethic in life, We could learn from the farmer and his wife. They rise up and begin the day By working on chores without delay, Not just for themselves, But also for others; Not complaining or wishing, "If I had my druthers, I'd sit and be served By my friends and my brothers."

I have been wanting to exercise my imagination, so this year I am trying to write a poem every day, as well as pursue some occasional painting, sewing and writing. By March I was doing well to write a poem every week, but I'm still trying. It's a good challenge.
